The Outreach Team recruits and onboards members and leads training. They organize whole-team meetings, group socials, and the Public Comment Initiative. With the Public Comment Initiative, they are hoping to recruit PASCC members and student activists to speak at every single City Council meeting this year to encourage the Council to take on specific actions to combat climate change.

The Council Liaison team builds and maintains relationships with our City staff and council. They work closely with projects to meet specific goals and with outreach to plan coordinated public comment movements. They are currently focused on developing a youth climate advisory board to the City Council. 

The Media team maintains the website, curates social media posts on instagram and TikTok, and helps other teams generate content for upcoming events and campaigns. Their mission is to provide relevant climate information for fellow Palo Altans.
