Our mission here at PASCC is to engage youth in climate advocacy and push our local government to prioritize the S/CAP (Palo Alto’s climate plan) by collaborating with community members, the City Council, and advocating for electrification.
Our Goal:
To increase support and push our local government to prioritize S/CAP, Palo Alto's climate plan.
Commitment:
Step 1: Go through one hour-long training session to learn about current environmental policy in Palo Alto, what we are doing to help, as well as council members, their roles, and how meetings run.
Step 2: Pick a committee! Whether you’re interested in outreach (approx. ~2-5 hours/week*), social media design (approx. ~1-2 hours/week), council liaison (approx. ~2-5 hours/week), or building a website (approx. ~1-2 hours), there’s a place for you on PASCC. If nothing interests you, you can start a new project within PASCC!

However, you can commit as little or as much time as you want, and meetings are always flexible. We want motivated students who will contribute to the team weekly.
